Christina San Filippo
Christina has volunteered with SEF since 2015, serving on the Night of 11,000 Stars Committee. In 2019, she joined the SEF Board and staff as SEF’s Assistant Director. In addition to her work with SEF, Christina serves on the Springfield Library Foundation Board, Springfield Renaissance Development Corporation Board, and Douglas Gardens Elementary PTA. Christina has two children in Springfield Public Schools. Originally from Sacramento, Christina attended UC Davis, majoring in International Relations with a minor in German. She has lived in the Eugene/Springfield area for over 15 years. When she isn’t volunteering, Christina enjoys paddleboarding, skiing, running, tennis, music, and throwing parties.
Ashley Mahlum joined the Springfield Education Foundation team in 2021. A former Preschool Teacher, she has worked with children and served the families of the Springfield community since 2015. Ashley has a passion for arts, history, and education, and enjoys networking and communication, as well as event planning. She has lived in Eugene since 2014 when she moved here with her partner Nicholas from Missoula, Montana. They were married in 2019 on the coast, and enjoy socializing, live music, games, and camping and hiking with their Great Pyrenees, Porter. Ashley enjoys crafts, music, and organic gardening.
