Kendall Auto Group announced that they will be kicking off the new school year with their Close the Divide Lane County Program. Kendall is partnering with local education foundations and organizations to close the digital divide by donating supplies and funding Wi-Fi for student households who otherwise would not have access.
Local residents are encouraged to donate and Kendall will match dollar for dollar up to $15,000!
“No child should be left behind this year because of lack of access to Wi-Fi or school supplies,” said Kendall Auto Group president Dave Blewett. “We’re very excited that we are able to partner with local community organizations to make an impact and close the digital divide in Lane County.”
Donations of unopened school supplies can be dropped off at any Kendall Eugene dealership during business hours from now until September 22, or donations can be purchased on the Lane County Close the Divide Amazon Wish List. For more information, visit www.KendallCloseTheDivide.com.
