Thurston grad Kelly Brye, a passionate supporter of the schools, is hosting a talk show on AM 1320 called Last Class of the Day. Each Wednesday from 3 to 4 he will be talking about issues surrounding education, with a particular focus on Springfield.
His first show last week featured Matthew Backer talking about the Springfield Education Foundation and local schools supporter Mark Molina talking about the importance of education in his life.
Today’s show will focus on the needs of the PTA Clothing Voucher program and what A3 students are doing to help. He’ll also be talking to schools supporter Peter Fritsch about the hisĀ April Jewels event that will celebrate special education in Springfield, among other topics.
